The one question
Start a new session in the folder you want your film in, one session for each film, and say what you want:
Make an animated film about a lighthouse keeper who's scared of the dark.If you haven't said, your AI asks only "What's the film about?" Everything else takes a default, stated in one line: 16:9, about 60 seconds, voices and music. Change any of it in a word.
It never asks what you've already said. Say "a comic about my dog" and it skips the style pick. It just shows you the dog in comic style for an OK.
Some apps show a stop as a page in the chat, and you click your choice. Otherwise the picture opens on your screen and you answer in the chat. It's the same choice either way.
Stop 1: Story and style
You see: your story in three lines, then one numbered picture. It's the place your story happens, with its one object big in front, drawn in every style. Nobody's in it yet, and it has no words on it.
You do: pick a style by name or number, describe your own, or bring a picture. See Styles.
Stop 2: People
You see: each main person, built for this film in the style you picked, on one numbered picture. They're whole and big, in the mood of their own hardest moment. Their age comes from the story, so nobody asks you.
You do: keep each one, change them in words ("older, shorter hair"), or bring a picture. This is the one approval. They're posed from it in every shot, so they never drift. A film with no people skips this stop.
Stop 3: Script
You see: the whole script in the chat, with the lines you'll hear and the pictures you'll see. Beside it is the hardest picture, drawn for real in your style. That's the one that carries the film's main feeling. Your AI also says what's still wrong with it.
You do: say what to change.
Stop 4: Go-ahead
Before this stop, your AI builds the whole film without stopping. It works part by part, draws stills, fixes what's wrong, and tells you in a line where it is. Then it reviews all of it once.
You see: every shot on one sheet, the voices, and what they'll cost in ElevenLabs credits. Your AI also offers to give anyone a voice of their own.
You do: say go, or say what to change first. Your yes covers the voices and the render.
After you say go
Your AI makes the voices, renders the video and checks the file. The render takes a while on a laptop, so it runs in the background and the video opens when it's done. If it stops, it carries on from where it was.
A film with spoken lines gets an .srt file beside the video. Upload it with the video for captions. Your AI also offers you a thumbnail.
To change something, say what:
Only change shot 7. Keep everything else.Only the changed shot is drawn again. A changed line is a new take on your credits.
Let it choose for you
- "You pick." Say this at any stop. Your AI picks and tells you why in a line.
- "Do it all yourself." Your AI makes every choice and goes straight to stop 4. Stop 4 always stays, because it spends your credits and takes a while.
